SAS spring testing equipment
Automated spring cycle/ fatigue tester LST - 1200
NEW CTV 2.000 - Vision System Series
SAS spring testing equipment
For stand alone testing in QA-departments or integrated
into production lines for 100% testing
SAS spring testers are precise digital systems to measure tension, compression
or torsion forces.
Aside the usual load testing, 3-dimensional measurements and analysis can be
done by integrating digital optical measurement systems in our testing systems.
The advantage of digital measurement is the following processing of the gathered
data into SAS quality analysis and management systems. Data export into existing
TQM-software is certainly possible, but should be discussed if necessary.
SAS software operation systems are Windows based and therefore can be integrated
into all modern computer and network systems.
SAS spring testers and analysis systems are available in different modells for different
applications. The setting of the units can be customized by selecting different software
and hardware options. Special set ups for wire forms and sheet metal parts can
be designed.
SAS standard testing equipment is designed for stand alone operation in quality
assurance, but can be integrated easily into production by using standardized
solutions for 100% testing.
The following software modules can be integrated into the systems:
| |
Load testing for compression, tension and torsion springs |
| |
Spring analysis and design |
| |
Statistic and reporting for quality analysis and asurance |
| |
Self calibration software |
| |
High and low resolution |
| |
3-Dimensional optical measurement |
| |
- manually by using a calliper |
| |
- automatically by using digital optical measurement
systems |

Automated spring cycle/ fatigue tester LST - 1200
Enables simultaneously testing of 6 springs with
independant force measurement.
Spring cycle/ fatigue tester based on SAS spring tester series.
Measurement and documentation of the spring force of every cycle count
up to the point of failure. Enables analysis and documentation
of spring forces before the spring collapses.
Statistic and analysis software modules as well as software modules
for the creation of reports enable the integration of the system in
TQM-concepts. Data import into existing TQM-systems is possible
but should be discussed when necessary.
Stop functions at:
| |
Collapse of a single spring |
| |
Collapse of all springs |
| |
Reach of a defined cycle count |
The base height is controlled by a linear transducer
so that spring setup can be repeated to within
0.02 mm. The stroke height can be determined to
within 0.02 mm dynamically at crosshead speeds
below 1 Hz.

The Windows based operation system enables
easy integration into existing networks based on
Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
Different modells and retrofitting of existing
equipment are available.
